Ingushetia speeds up housing construction

Ingush Prime Minister Abubakar Malsagov has ordered executives to speed up construction of housing for residents of areas hit by landslides, Interfax-South reports.

Malsagov reminded that some neigbourhoods were not complete, construction was slow and water pressure was too low to supply houses. Two reservoirs were built in Kantyshevo to resolve problems with water, they will be put into operation in a few days.

Movement of residents from landslide zones in Malgobek and the Malgobek District should end this year. 32 multi-storey residential buildings were built for 800 families in 2013. They have an area of 90,400 square meters. 35 more residential buildings with an area of 90,400 square meters will have been built by the end of the year. Roads, a school, shops, a clinic and water-treatment facilities are being built. Over 3.3 billion rubles from the federal budget were allocated for the project in 2014.
