A delegation of the State Oil Company of the Azerbaijani Republic
(SOCAR) is on a visit to Vietnam, 1news.az reports, citing a message
of SOCAR. The delegation will participate in an international
science-practical conference dedicated to the 35th anniversary of
Petrovietnam.
The delegation was welcomed by the president and vice-president of
Petrovietnam, Nguyen Quoc Thap and Phung Dinh Thuc. They discussed
bilateral ties and opportunities for experience exchange.
After the conference the delegation visited the museum of
Petrovietnam, the Gas Institute of Vietnam and viewed the laboratory
complex and the center for modernization of the institute.
SOCAR representatives also met a delegation of the head of
Vietsovpetro to discuss cooperation.
