A wine association was created in Georgia to popularize Georgian wine abroad. The government allocated $325,000 for the project. Advertising will start in the US in 2011, Vzglyad reports.
In 2009 export of Georgian wine was 16 million bottles. The Georgia president plans to export to the USA 10 million bottles.
