Russia halts gas supplies to Armenia until September 17

Russia has halted gas transit to Armenia through Georgia until
September 17 due to repair work on the pipeline 'North
Caucasus-Transcaucasus', News Armenia reports, citing the
press-service of Armenian-Russia company 'ArmRosgazprom.'


'Gazprom Transgaz Stavropol' is repairing the pipeline. Armenia can
still use reserves from the Abovyan underground gas storage. This
station is capable of supplying consumers for 1-1.5 months.
