Kaynadin Suyundikov, the head of the Nogaysky District of Dagestan, has been fined 80,000 rubles for negligence in the sale of 30,000 м² of land in Terekli-Mekteb in August 2013. The land was sold for construction of commercial buildings for 137,700 rubles. According to the law, the land costs 405.1 rubles per square meter, so the land was worth over 11.4 million rubles. The functionary caused a loss of over 11 million rubles to the district. On July 23, Suyundikov was declared guilty and fined 80,000 rubles. The official will also compensate for the loss.
