Georgian trade turnover reached $1.716 billion in January-June 2014, exceeding the volume in January-June 2013 by 10%, Trend reports.
Exports totaled $758 million (increase by 11%), imports totaled $957 million (+9%). Georgia trades 31% of products with CIS countries, including 53% of exports and 24% of imports.
The trade deficit in January-June 2014 totaled 8% (-1%).
