TAV Georgia (Turkey) will build a new runway at Tbilisi International Airport, Georgian Deputy Minister for tge Economy Dmitry Kumsishvili said, Trend reports.
The deal with TAV Georgia will be in force until 2027. The company has a memorandum until 2037. TAV Georgia guarantees functionality of the new runway for 20 years.
Kumsishvili said that a contract with the Turkish company was to be signed before July 31 but was postponed due to holidays in Turkey. It may be signed on August 14.
