50.5 tons of UK’s Ken Read & Son Ltd imported in the Primorsky Territory were infected with listerellosis, a dangerous disease, RIA Novosti reports.
The disease was found in a shipment of processed chicken in late 2012.
Russia has been registering listerellosis since 1992. Cases of infection are few, most people killed by the disease were infected by contaminated meat.
