Drought damages harvest in Azerbaijan

A drought has damaged the harvest in several districts of Azerbaijan. According to a member of the country's Academy of Sciences, Asif Mekhraliyev, the total precipitation in the Gabalinsky, Ismaillinsky, Oguzsky and Shamakhinsky districts of the country is much below average.

Crops have been damaged severely. In Sheki, Shamaty and Gobustan the crops have been destroyed.
