New director general of FC Kuban Krasnodar appointed

 

Yevgeny Muravyov, the head of the Development-Yug construction and investment company, was introduced yesterday as a replacer of Vladislav Tereshkov, the ex-director general of FC Kuban Krasnodar and now a deputy of Muravyov. Governor of the Krasnodar Territory Alexander Tkachyov, the president of the club, offered the post to Muravyov, Vedomosti reports.Sergey Ivanov, a member of the board, said that Muravyov will remain the head of Development-Yug.Oleg Mkrtchan remains the main investor of Kuban. He is a co-owner of the Industrial Union of Donbass that owns 75% of the club, the rest belongs to the Krasnodar Territory. Mkrtchan cannot fully finance the club due to combat in the Donetsk Oblast of Ukraine, where most of the assets are located.Ivan Peronko, deputy governor of the Krasnodar Territory, said that the new director general will play a greater role in managing the club.
