Azerbaijan reduces car imports by a third

 

Azerbaijan reduced car imports in January-July 2014 by 34.2%, compared with the same period in 2013. A total of 38,338 cars have been imported in Azerbaijan since the start of the year, News Azerbaijan reports.198 of them are transportation vehicles for 10 or more passengers (a drop by 63.5%), 34,618 are cars for passengers and other motor vehicles (-34.3%), 3,263 are trucks (-27.3%), 259 are special cars (-53.4%).Azerbaijan produced 4.6 more cars in January-June 2014 than in the same period of 2013.
