LUKOIL has transported 1 million barrels of oil from Iraq’s West Qurna-2 Field from Port Basra to Port Augusta (Sicily) using the tanker Sea Triumph, affreighted by Litasco, RIA Novosti reports.
Oil was transported to the ISAB refinery of LUKOIL in Priolo.
LUKOIL spokesman Vitaly Matushkin said that LUKOIL was realizing projects in Iraq and countries of Africa and Latin America according to schedule. Oil extraction at West Qurna-2 amounts to 280,000 barrels a day.
