This year GDP growth in Armenia will come to 3-4%, the head of the macroeconomic department of the Armenian Ministry of Finance and Economy, Armen Hayrapetyan, told a press conference on Saturday, News.am reports.
According to him, economic growth has slowed down as the result of a downslide in the agricultural sector. During the January-July period a 23% decline was registered, due to unfavorable climate conditions.
Inflation will exceed the index of 4±1.5%, Hayrapetyan said.
