The Azerbaijani-Russian inter-governmental commission for economic cooperation will have its 15th session in Yekaterinburg, according to Yelena Palatkina, spokeswoman of the Ministry for Foreign Economic Contacts of the Sverdlovsk Oblast, ITAR-TASS reports.Governor Yevgeny Kuyvashev visited Azerbaijan in spring and proposed to host the session. Minister for International and Foreign Economic Contacts of the Sverdlovsk Oblast Andrey Sobolev said that trade had activated, investment projects in Russia and Azerbaijan were being realized.Trade turnover between Russia and Azerbaijan totaled $1.086 billion in January-July 2014. Azerbaijan imported Russian products worth $698.038 million and exported $383.77 million.The currency rate on August 26 is 0.7844 AZN/USD.
