The Minister of Communications and High Technologies of Azerbaijan, Ali Abbasov, and the head of the international relations of the European Centre for Nuclear Research (CERN), Rudiger Voss, have met in Baku. Voss said that CERN is interested in expanding cooperation with Azerbaijan.
The two sides discussed prospects for cooperation in the field of training of highly qualified personnel to conduct joint research.
Currently, the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan cooperates with the CERN Institute of Physics, Trend reports.
