Rosneft has won the tender to fuel jets of Turkish Airlines in Russia. Flights will be made from September 1 to April 30, 2015. 1090 tons of fuel will be used and the volume may rise, ITAR-TASS reports.
Turkish Airlines is one of the key clients cooperating with the Russian company since May 2012. It fills jets with an average of 1200 tons of fuel at Vnukovo Airport. Fueling at Stavropol Airport started in April 2014 and at Rostov-on-Don Airport in May 2014.
Turkish Airlines is the main Turkish airline. It is based in Istanbul and makes regular flights to 123 foreign and 32 domestic airports in Europe, Asia, Africa and the U.S.
