The World Bank has granted Ukraine a loan worth $500 million for 16 years (7-year beneficial period at a rate of 0.63%). The origination fee is a one-time payment of 0.25% of the sum, Gazeta.ru reports.It is the first package of financial aid to Ukraine. The World Bank decided in March 2014 to grant a total of $3.5 billion. The sum will be spent on banking reforms, implementation of an anti-crisis program for the financial sector.
