Armenia's Nairit director fired

Ovannes Akhinyan, the director general of the Nairit rubber factory in Yerevan, has been dismissed. His deputy Ruben Sagatelyan became the new director general, Tert.am reports.

Vagan Melkonyan, a deputy energy minister, ex-director of Nairit, attended the session of the Nairit council yesterday. Rosneft has business programs with Nairit.

Akhinyan is one of the oldest workers of Nairit, he has worked there for about 50 years. In 2011, he replaced Melkonyan as the director.
