Chechnya will build 121 houses with a total area of 50,500 square meters for 3,857 residents living in poor-condition buildings in Grozny, the Nadterechny and the Urus-Martanovsky districts for 1.5 billion rubles in 2013-2017 within the framework of the regional program, the Chechen government reports.
Two three-storey buildings in the Staropromyslovsky District of Grozny are almost ready for new residents. Ramzan Kadyrov, the Chechen leader, and Sergey Stepashin, the head of the monitoring council of the Fund for Assistance and Reforming of the Housing and Utilities Service, visited the construction site.
Residents of 30 poor-condition houses will get new homes in Grozny in 2014-2015.
