An underground gas holder will be built in Eastern Georgia, where the Samgori Field is located. The Georgian Oil and Gas Corporation has been given permission for the construction, Trend reports.The gas holder will have a capacity of 230-250 million cubic meters of natural gas, about 15% of annual consumption volume. The new gas container will improve energy security and keep the population supplied with gas.
