Armenia will try to feed school pupils at the expense of the state budget Next year, the Armenian government plans to finance school meals program from the state budget, the head of the Ministry of Education of the country Armen Ashotyan said, reports news.am.According to him, the implementation of this pilot project has already started in some regions.  203.4 million drams (about $ 495 thousand) will be allocated for these needs.. This money will go to cover hot school meals or, where the provision of hot meals is impossible, children will receive cakes, milk, yogurt and juice. 

 

Next year the Armenian government plans to finance a school meals program from the state budget, the head of the Ministry of Education of the country Armen Ashotyan said, news.am reports.

According to Ashotyan, the implementation of this pilot project has already started in some regions.
