Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan has presented a package of economic reforms to bring the GDP volume in 2018 to $1.3 trillion, reducing the budget deficit to 5.2% of GDP and unemployment to 7%. He called the southern and south-eastern provinces a priority of the reforms.
The reforms will be realized in 25 aspects, including reduction of dependence on imports, stimulation of production via state purchases, implementation of energy-saving technologies and local energy sources, commercialization of priority science and research projects, modernization of healthcare and medical tourism.
