Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said at a meeting with his Turkmen counterpart Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov in Ashkhabad today that Turkmen gas shipments to Europe will guarantee energy security, RIA Novosti reports.The president reminded about the role the TANAP pipeline in delivering the gas. In his opinion, Turkey was contributing to delivery of Turkmen and Azerbaijani gas to Europe.Turkmengaz (Turkmenistan) and Atagaz (Turkey) signed a framework agreement on cooperation in purchase and sales of natural gas.
