Russia to supply wheat to Armenia

This April, the Russian Government decided to supply 5,000 tons of wheat and 1,000 tons of vegetable oil to Armenia as humanitarian aid,  News.am reports.

Armenia's Minister for Emergency Situations Armen Yeritsyan stated that the aid will soon be delivered to Armenia. Russia will also cover the delivery expenses as far as the Dalarik station in Armenia. The Armenian government is to handle the rest of the transportation costs. The Armenian Government is also responsible for preserving the cargo. Minister Yeritsyan asked for 12.2m AMD (about $32,000) for this purpose.

The wheat will be delivered to the Baghramyan mill, owned by Samvel Alexanyan.
