China doubles investments in Iran

China has increased investments in Iran for realization of projects in the industrial, oil, gas and petrochemical sectors from $23 billion to over $50 billion, according to Iranian Deputy Oil Minister for International Affairs Esmail Mahsouli, Trend reports.

In his words, Iran was planning to use $1.5-2 billion of the Chinese investments for realization of hydro and electric energy projects.
