An inter-departmental commission of Ingushetia collected over 12 million rubles of gas debts in a week, according to Ingush Vice Prime Minister Sultan Tsechoyev. He clarified that the debts were accumulated over the course of a year. At least 300,000 rubles were paid for electricity, about 130,000 rubles for water, Interfax reports.
Tsechoyev added that collection of debts for energy were under personal control of Ingush Leader Yunus-bek Yevkurov, who had demanded all executives of gas services to improve the situation or be fired.
According to Gazprom Mezhregiongaz Pyatigorsk, the republic owes 3.85 billion rubles for gas.
