EU hopes for stability of Russian gas supplies to Ukraine

European Commissioner for Energy Union, Maros Sefkovic, told an international energy conference in Astana today that the EU expected Russian gas supplies to be stable during the winter. Russia has not renewed gas supplies to Ukraine because it has not received prepayments for gas, RIA Novosti reports.
