UK companies are interested in cooperating with Azerbaijan, including in the field of underground construction. This was announced by the British Prime Ministerial Trade Envoy to Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan, Charles Hendry, at a meeting with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in Baku on Tuesday.
Hendry claimed he was pleased with the participation at the International Exhibition of Telecommunications and Information Technologies BakuTel-2014, stressing that cooperation between the countries in this area will continue in the future.
In his turn, the President of Azerbaijan underlined the importance of developing high-level bilateral relations and expressedsatisfaction with the active participation of British companies in the development of the non-energy sector in Azerbaijan.
Aliyev also stressed the importance of the participation of Charles Hendry in BakuTel-2014.
The head of state pointed to the availability of great potential for cooperation in the oil and gas, agriculture, tourism and other spheres.
