Vakhtang Gomelauri, a deputy foreign minister of Georgia, and Zaza Pantsulaya, the director of the Center for Emergency and Special Measures of the Strategic Pipeline Protection Department of the Interior Ministry, have met with Chris Schlueter, the new general manager of BP-Georgia (operator of the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan), and Sandro Chitadze, the head of the company’s security service, Trend reports.The sides discussed security of the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline within the framework of expansion of the South Caucasus Pipeline. They agreed to form a join group for coordination of security.
