Armenia believes that Luzhkov's dismissal will not affect ties with Moscow

Yuri Luzhkov's dismissal will not affect realization of joint economic
projects between the capitals of Armenia and Russia, a source in
Yerevan's mayoral office told News Armenia.

The source recalled that the current mayor of Yerevan, Gagik
Beglaryan, replaced Yervand Zakharyan, while keeping all the projects
in force.

Yerevan and Moscow are realizing major projects in the construction,
urban planning, educational and energy sectors.

Russian President Dmitry Medvedev signed a decree dismissing Luzhkov
on Tuesday, due to loss of confidence. Luzhkov had been the mayor of
Moscow for 18 years.
