Baku offers to become conductor of Kashagan oil for Europe

 

Azerbaijani Ambassador to Kazakhstan Zakir Gashimov said that Azerbaijan was ready to ship diesel fuel to Kazakhstan and oil from the Kashagan Field (Kazakhstan) to the European market. He reminded that the transit of Kazakhstani oil through the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan line to Europe had resumed in 2014, the Kashagan Field will further increase the transit volumes, Trend reports.The official noted great potential for exports of diesel fuel and oil lubricants to Kazakhstan.The trade turnover between the two countries totaled $371 million in 2014 and will soon reach $500 million. The side have an agreement to bring the figure to at least $1 billion, according to the ambassador.
