The press service of Sberbank has denied a number of media reports on their termination due to the sharp depreciation of ruble loans to individuals.
"Despite the increased volatility on financial markets and the increase of the emergency key rate of the Central Bank, Sberbank lending continues to customers - both individuals and legal entities," RIA Novosti quotes a statement by the press service.
As of 17:24 on the Moscow Stock Exchange the dollar had reached 71.65 rubles, while the euro had reached 90.2 rubles.
