Spanish company to plant 1 000 hectares of almond gardens in Georgia

Spanish company ADVERSA+ will plant 1 000 hectares of almond gardens
in Georgia and plans to make it 10,000 in the future, Business Georgia
reports. According to the Ministry of Agriculture, almond is the most
profitable crop and its price rises annually.


On October 5 the Ministry of Agriculture will hold a conference on the
importance of almond cultures and their prospects on the international
market. ADVERSA+ is the joint organizer together with the ministry.
Agronomy engineer Francisco Vargas, one of the top almond experts,
will make a speech at the conference.
