Cavusoglu: Turkey does not buy oil from "Islamic State"

Ankara does not purchase oil from the terrorist organization "Islamic State" and is fighting the smuggling of petroleum products. This was stated by Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey Mevlut Cavusoglu in a speech at a press conference in Tehran during a visit to Iran.

"Information about Turkey allegedly buying crude oil from "Islamic State" and promoting the passage of militants through the Turkish-Syrian border is false, it is an attempt to tarnish our country. We import oil from Iraqi Kurdistan and prevent  its illegal delivery. Since the beginning of this year, we have stopped the smuggling of 80 million liters of petroleum products across the border," RIA Novosti quoted the head of the Turkish foreign ministry.
