Armenian cognac production in January-August rose by 36.6% compared
with the same period in 2009, reaching 6.801 million litres.
1.140 million litres were produced in August alone.
According to ARKA, the National Statistics Service registered an
increase in wine production equal to 31.6% - or 2.742 million litres -
in January-August.
5.927 million litres of vodka were produced in January-August, a drop
of 19.8% compared with the same period in 2009.
