Russia will not restrict food imports from Georgia

The Georgian Ministry for Agriculture has denied information about restrictions Russia was allegedly planning to impose on imports of fruits and vegetables from Georgia after New Year, Trend reports.


Georgian food exports to Russia resumed in 2013. Georgia exports alcoholic drinks, mineral water, fruits and vegetables, tea and bay leaves to Russia. It is negotiating exports of honey, fish and lamb.
