The price of the dollar dropped by 3.1 rubles to 55.2 rubles, euro to 68.7 rubles at the Moscow Exchange at 10.24am. The dollar and euro had reached 59.4 rubles and 72.5 rubles since morning.


The price for Brent oil dropped by 1% to 57.3 rubles.


Dealers say that the oil price was encouraging the Central Bank or the Ministry for Finances to sell currencies. The final trade this year has not marked any serious fall of ruble prices.
