Waiting for economic prosperity prevails in the world, the study End of Year, organized by the Association WIN/Gallup International shows.
A study held among 64,002 respondents in 65 countries showed that the level of expectations of economic prosperity is shared by 42% of respondents, according to a member of the Association of Azerbaijani organization SIAR Research and Consulting Group.
"Azerbaijan is situated above the median level: in the country, as well as in China, economic prosperity is awaited by 55% of the respondents. As a result, Azerbaijan, the only post-Soviet state that is among the global top ten, is expecting economic growth," a statement by the SIAR Research and Consulting Group is quoted by abc.az.
Recession seems more likely for only 23% of respondents in the world. Economic downturn is most expected in Western Europe (40% of respondents), Eastern Europe (34%), North America and South America (33%).
