Ex-Chairman of U.S. Federal Reserve sees instability in U.S. economy

Ex-Chairman of the U.S. Federal Reserve Alan Greenspan has called the U.S. economy a success but noted that there was some instability. In his words, real progress will be achieved when people start investing in production and real estate, Bloomberg reports.


According to Greenspan, the main problems of the past 4-6 years in the economy are the lack of long-term investments. The investments would guarantee economic stability, the economist assures.
