Adjustments to budget of Azerbaijani State Oil Fund approved

Azerbaijani President Ilkham Aliyev has approved changes to the budget
of the State Oil Fund for 2010, Trend reports, citing a statement by
the fund on Friday.


The expenses on improving social conditions and resettlement of
refugees and forced migrants were increased from 80 million to 105
million manats, and the reconstruction of the Samur-Absheron
irrigation system - from 110 million to 131 million manats.


The figures were achieved by reducing financing of the
Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railroad construction from 80 million to 34 million
manats.


The president introduced the changes in July. The income part of the
fund increased from 5.963 billion manats to 9.032 billion (by 64%).
The expenses rose from 5.428 billion to 6.428 billion manats (by
18.4%). Hydrocarbon fuel sales rose from 5.564 billion to 8.615
billion manats, income from finance management rose from 241 million
to 250 million manats. Oil transport income is 9.640 million manats.
The expenses rose due to increase of transfer to the state budget from
4.915 billion manats to 5.915 billion.


State Oil Fund assets reached $18.122 billion, rising by 21.6%
compared with the start of this year ($14.9 billion).


The income of the fund in January-June is 6.101 billion manats,
expenses - 2.630 billion manats.


The official currency rate for October 1 is 0.8027 SAZN/USD.
