Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said at a meeting with Minister for Agriculture Nikolai Fedorov that food prices should not be exaggerated in the country. The prime minister ordered governors to control the situation around food prices that have been rocketing in the context of weakening national currency and ban on food imports, Yuga.ru reports.
Medvedev added that the Federal Anti-Monopoly Service and the police will take part in monitoring the food prices.
