Chinese investors in conjunction with the major technological and scientific center of Beijing "Zhongguancun" will participate in constructing a neighborhood covering more than 150 million square meters in Krasnodar.
According to the director of Investment Development "Directorate COT" Gennady Nagorny, who oversees the project, currently the company together with the administration of Beijing is looking for investors. The total size of investment in the project is estimated at $5 billion.
"At this stage we are considering the possibility of attracting companies from China, specializing in the sale of construction and financial projects, as well as the construction zones of entertainment. At the preliminary stage the business community in China has shown interest in our project, so during the current visit to the capital of China, we signed an agreement on development of cooperation with the technopark "Zhongguancun" and the administration of Beijing," Tass quotes Nagorny.
