A permanent ferry will operate between Sevastopol and one of the Turkish ports, the governor of Sevastopol Sergey Menyailo said.
"The Kerch ferry costs a lot, and today a storm warning is expected, we understand that this directly affects supplies. Therefore, we are trying to do everything to develop our ferry," he is quoted by portal Yuga.
According to Menyailo, there are certain conventions: the ferry must arrive in Sevastopol in the near future, bringing food from Turkey.
Earlier, at a press conference on the results of 2014, he said that 3 ferries will be operating from Novorossiysk to Sevastopol this year on a regular basis.
"The ferry to Sevastopol from Novorossiysk is really organized. The ferry runs 10 times a month," Menyailo said. He added that in 2015, in addition to the ferry "Petersburg", another 2 ferries -"Sevastopol" and "Novorossiysk" - will sail to the port of Sevastopol to unload, for which a site on the shore has already been chosen.
