InterContinental hotel to be built in Georgia

In the first quarter of 2016 an InterContinental hotel will be built in Tbilisi, according to Valeri Chekheria, the head of the Adjara Group Company.


It will be situated in the center of the capital in a former publishing house. At the moment, reconstruction works are being provided there; they will be finished by the end of 2015.

It will be a five-star hotel with 250 rooms. The project costs $45 million.

Moreover, the company plans to build a Crowne Plaza hotel in Batumi, which will have 173 rooms. It will be an expensive hotel. The volume of investments into it will be $20 million, Georgia Online reports.
