Leading Russian companies fall in Fitch’s rating

The international rating agency Fitch announced a decrease of the ratings and a worsening of the forecasts for 13 major Russian companies.

The foreign and national currency IDR of Gazprom, LUKOIL and Russian Railways were decreased from BBB to BBB-. NOVATEK’s rating remained at the level of BBB-, but the forecast was changed to a negative one.

Ratings by Fitch show that the companies are restricted by the sovereign rating at the moment, RIA Novosti reports.
