Fitch has preserved the rating of Norilsk Nickel at BBB-, changing the forecast from stable to negative. The changes were provoked by aggravation of Russia's country ceiling rating from BBB to BBB- with a negative forecast, the ratings agency said today.
Fitch gave the Russian company an F3 rating for short-term IDR in foreign currency and BBB- for the company rating in foreign currency.
