Russian and Venezuelan Presidents Vladimir Putin and Nicolas Maduro have discussed the situation on world oil markets and bilateral relations at a meeting in Novo-Ogarevo, Putin's spokesman Dmitry Peskov says, RIA Novosti reports.
The presidents want to take joint steps to overcome the fall in trade and economic relations and activate the work of bilateral intergovernmental commissions.
