The Russian Federation Ministry of Agriculture would allow the removal of the embargo on Greek food in the event of its withdrawal from the EU.
This statement was made by the head of the ministry, Nikolai Fyodorov. An official delegation of the Ministry of Agriculture is participating in the Green Week International Agricultural Exhibition in Berlin. "If Greece will be forced to withdraw from the European Union, we are going to build an individual relationship with Greece, it does not fall under the food embargo," TASS cited Fedorov.
According to the minister, EU countries that feel uncomfortable due to a sharp drop in revenue from the supply of Russian products are asking to mitigate the effects of the Russian food embargo at the expense of other articles of import. "We are considering this question," Fedorov said.
