Grain prices fall, bread prices rise in Russia

Russian Vice Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich told a United Russia session at the parliament today that prices for grain were falling due to the export duties for grain.

In his words, the price for grain will fall 0.50-1.00 rubles below 10-10.5 rubles per kilogram, RIA Novosti reports.

Dvorkovich noted that prices for flour and bread would most likely continue growing as “a delayed effect” of rising costs in the previous months.
