Georgia and Turkey agree to intensify customs cooperation

Georgia and Turkey have reached an agreement on intensifying the development of coordinated and mutually beneficial customs cooperation.

 

The agreement was reached during Turkish Customs and Trade Minister Nurettin Canikli’s visit to Georgia, whose purpose was discussing the trade-economic and customs issues, existing in the format of bilateral and multilateral cooperation. 

 

As part of the visit, Canikli visited the Tbilisi Economic Clearance Zone.

 

The Turkish side is interested in the free movement of Turkish vehicles in Georgia and their transit through this country, as well as the capacity of customs points of Georgia, Trend reports.
